Introduction
QwicKey is a secure and convenient online security solution that delivers superior online password management, password generation, instant form completion, express payment, payment Protection Code Generation and one-click log in. It works with existing magnetic stripe cards in your wallet (like credit cards, ATM, credit, debit or gift cards, many driver’s licenses, insurance cards and other forms of identification), and browser software to enable you to quickly, accurately and safely use your personal data online.
QwicKey is safer than other password managers because it stores no critical elements including credit card accounts numbers and identification access codes, on your computer or anywhere. This makes it near impossible for cyber criminals to access your sensitive data.
Personal Profile Setup
Your personal Profile is encrypted, stored in your QwicK Vault and protected by a QwicKey Access Card, a QwicKey secure card reader authenticator (SCRA) and a Master Password that you create. It provides you with fields for automatic form fill of an address, alternate address and customizable information. You can add as many Access Cards as you want to access your account.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND STORING THE QWICKEY ACCESS CARD IN A SECURE LOCATION AND USING ADDITIONAL CARDS ON A DAILY BASIS. IF ALL OF YOUR ACCESS CARDS ARE LOST OR STOLEN, YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WOULD BE LOST AS WELL. NOT EVEN QWICKEY CAN ACCESS YOUR INFORMATION.
Powerful Password Protection
QwicKey provides a Master Password for secure single sign-on that grants unlimited setup of Links to all of your online accounts that require user names and passwords. All of your passwords are guarded with strong, two-factor authentication using your encrypted Master Password and a nonreplicable Access Card. QwicKey SCRAs make it impossible for counterfeit cards to access your account. QwicKey is easy-to-setup, intuitive and allows you to add and organize as you go.
One-click Website Login with Links
QwicKey Links give you one-click access to all of your online accounts with no need to type in web addresses, passwords or user names again. Simply log in to QwicKey, go to the URL and enter your log in information. QwicKey will ask to save your log in information. The next time you want access to your account, you simply click on the Link. Not only will you be brought to the URL, but QwicKey will log you in to your account automatically.
Automatic Form Fill
Form Fill saves you time and effort. Click on the Form Fill menu to gain access to your personal information and any custom data you have saved. You can select to have the complete form automatically populate or custom select items with drag and drop easy functionality, providing fast and reliable automatic form completion.
Form Fill Card Data
Form Fill Card Data does more than automatically complete the payment information on various sites. It provides a more secure way to enter your payment data, since nothing is ever typed into the keyboard. Shopping experiences are made faster, easier and safer with QwicKey. The secure card reader authenticator technology guards against key stroke logger software and other forms of malware.
Favorite Site and Bookmark Linking
Use QwicKey to take your bookmarked favorites with you. No need to save all those emails with the best sites, or create a file to hold them all. Now you can access them from the road. They will be available anywhere you go, at any computer with QwicKey.
Fights Fraud
Feel safer shopping online and using log in forms and profile information with QwicKey’s enhanced security. Your profile is protected with an encrypted Master Password and an Access Card, that is uniquely yours and in your physical control. This provides an enhanced level of security providing anti-phishing, anti-key logging and protection against other forms of cyber attacks.
QwicKey also uses powerful triple DES encryption technology, the golden standard recommended by PCI DSS compliance regulations and the financial community.
Qwick Codes
Qwick Codes are generated by the user clicking on the Qwick Codes icon [Formerly Protection Codes]. These one-time codes can be redeemed by a PCI compliant, ROC certified Payment Processor. A Merchant and online store can accept a Qwick Code in lieu of cardholder, personal account data.
Portability
Central QwicK Vault storage of account information provides better security, and the freedom to access accounts from any PC. The palm sized QwicKey SCRA and easy USB connection make taking your QwicKey fun and easy.

Password-stealing malware skyrocketing

The use of password-stealing trojans has jumped some 400 per cent in the past year, according to a recent report from McAfee. The security firm said that in 2008, nearly 400,000 variants on trojans designed to log keystrokes and record passwords were found. By comparison, fewer than 100,000 such samples were detected in 2007. Not only is the malware becoming more numerous but…data-stealing techniques have also become more sophisticated. The company noted that many malware programs now attempt to disable security software and access data directly from system files.
